custom fab work what?

This…make no sense to me

240sx rear subframe in nissan pickup

I know what it is dude. I just see a lot of unnessesary things. That being said, from the pics it all looks alright so it should work good. U plan to use a bed still? U mock it up so stock suspension is low? Arms all straight?

whats unneccessary? because i have put some though into weight and the way i see it i cant see this setup being more than 50 lbs over factory. yeah beds on, just cut the floor out. really not sure what my heights at yet, i dont have any matching tires and front left is flat haha, but yeah i tried to mock it so stock susp sat 2 inch lower. the rear mounts are not permanent yet, im not sure if i will keep the janky design i used up there, redid my front mounts because ihated the way they looked, much cleaner now
as you can see i have my lower frame rails, then my upper frame to add as much strength to it all as i could, im sure i could have gotten away without doing the upper frame but i dont see the harm in it being there

the triangulated uprights is what i was commenting on.
i think its not a bad idea that you used stock suspension and kept the arms as straight as you can.  keep in mind, if you get coilovers, they are quite a bit shorter and your truck will be laying frame at its highest height hahaha. its definetely interesting dude, looks like it could work and have fun. where in bc are you?

its definitely been abuild as i go thing haha, still figuring out kinks. for some reason left side is compressed, not sure if because flat front tire, or because blown shock. shits weird. get to it one weekend though. yeah thats one thing im glad is i can tune quite a bit of height issue out with coils, and can always mod my towers or add spacersin between, without the uprights i was REEEAAAALLLY worried about eventual cracking or anything, like dont get me wrong im apretty good welder but who knows what ill do with this thing right? figured safer than sorry in this situation, believe it or not the metal for this whole swap has run me under 200 dolla haha. im in abbotsford, near vancouver if your nto sure, wbu you in bc?

ebrake downhill left trying to connect to the next right with another ebrake… just shy of makin it =(

gotta figure out that rub… i hate not being able to hold full lock

past two days ive redone the whole Independant rear suspension swap in my d21, holy fuck, definitely made some MAJOR modifications, had almost 3 inches of flex in the frame. replaced angle iron with tube and lowered my upper braces. remade my front subframe mounts out of really nice notched 3 inch tube, welded all the way around the frame. so dope. now just to finish up any welds ive missed. add in a few short support beams. and remake my strut towers… fuck, will this ever end?!

ka powaaaa

lil S corner action

Full lock is never fun in my car lol
